just got back from work and found oil all over the back end, it seems the chaincase has about an inch & a half crack from the bottomstraight up, about 2 inches in front of the kickstart. Sorry too late for a photo. I can change it tomorrow but was wondering if anyone has an idea why this would happen? Hoping just a straight swap, just unlucky! Anyone had similar.

I've had one crack around the kickstart boss but thas was due to being a S2 which didn't like the compression of the Muggy top end. 2 inches in front puts your crack over the clutch, not using super strong clutch springs??

Sorry not described very well, it has cracked from the edge upwards, between a couple of studs. I can't think of any reason, it has done a good few thousand miles with no issues, guess it's just on of those things. I'll check out the internals tomorrow.
