1980 with just over 10K miles on it. When I'm riding slow or at a stop getting into first gear is difficult, could it be the clutch is on its way out?

i find that its the cable that needs tro bew adjusted to take out any slack thats need to get a p2 right also check or change your oil as you may have an air leak and have burned off your gearbox oil
