I want to make up a 5 plate clutch, i have a lightened 47th clutch sprocket from scootrs, a tall clutch spider from beedspeed, 1.2mm clutch steels and a 2.5mm clutch top plate also 5 surflex B plates. Do i need anything else, do i have to machine my sprocket deeper to take the five plates, any advice appreciated.

personally i would dump the b plates and get the green synthetic plates, reason is that the cork on the b plates swell quite a lot in the oil and give insufficient separation ,whereas the green plates are a lot thinner and hold there dimensions,
these are my experiences
good luck
