took the scoot out today and noticed a bit of drag on the clutch ,got it home and took the clutch out, springs buggered.got a new set of surflex B's at home so thought if I'm doing it replace the lot, springs corks etc.The surflex corks are over 14mm thick  anyway to counter act this I thought if I'm buying new springs I'll get new steels. At the moment I've a 2.5 mm top plate and 1.2 mm plates.I'm going to buy these springs (fed up with uprated springs) http://lambretta.co.uk/catalog/product_ ... ts_id=2438
and fancy getting these for extra clearance http://lambretta.co.uk/catalog/product_ ... ts_id=2808
this for the top plate http://lambretta.co.uk/catalog/product_ ... ts_id=2335 any thoughts or is anyone using these thinner steels and top plate? and what's the difference between the long tang ,short tang and standard tang on the steels? any feedback much appreciated,Dave
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.
