ooh err ! :? hub bearings ok no play, spindle ok not bent, forks feel good and look ok at a glance, not sure about frame,no play in rear hub but slight movement in layshaft in/out,had engine apart to clean up crank after blown piston, everything looked solid, front dampers seem to work ok pumped them in /out about the same strength, front wheel rim run out is about 1mm ,need to check other things on your list. need to strip forks I suppose ,never done this ,do you know anywhere that explains how to do this?any help would be great doing this as a favour!!!!! :fb:

Have checked everthing without too much strip down, right hand engine mount appears to be strained towards the top! :)
quite possibly the cause?

very possibly as if front and rear wheels are not in alignment both horizontally and along the length of scoot it will give the bent frame symptom that you describe
