trouble putting it into first gear.

Hi people
I need some help, My PX tends to clunk into first gear just after its been started. Its alright after the first clunk into gear and changes smoothly. Its as if the clutch is not engaging properly for the initial gear selection and then works ok after that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
