I recently broke down in France. Scooter ran fine i then stopped and half an hour later it wouldnt kick over. There was a very very small but intermittent spark but now nothing. I've checked all the obvious accessable parts (not stator) and fitted a new cdi. I've not given much thought to the professionally fitted Augusto......could this be the problem? How can i bypass it?

Tim,

The Agusto is a simple plug-in to the red wire. Why don't you just take it out of the circuit and plug the red wire directly from the stator to the CDI. OK, the timing will well out but you are only testing the spark at kick-over speed.

Good luck.

TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.

And he didn't mention that the problem happened in a heavy downpour either. Facts, Timothy, facts :frog:
