im after some af tubeless rims. does anyone know whos got them in stock ? or any feedback on people who are using them. cheers

dont do it, i still have one inmy corner of crap in the garage . get the sip version they are the bollox, the tyres fit aesy as well unlike af ones

cheers mate. the reason i didnt want the sip ones was i couldnt get studs out the front hubs. looks like the drills coming out. ha ha

honestly i don't see what the real difference is really.
we've installed both types on a tire machine and they are about the same amount of effort. it's a two man job right now. you need the extra set of hands to prevent the rim from slipping on the machine. the sip one is actually a bit more difficult for the machine to grip. all of these have been installed with heidenau tires (about as stiff a side wall as you can get).

I can fit the tyres to sipversion on my own with 1 tyre lever in about 2 mins with no damage to tyre or rim but have no chance of doing this with the Af ones as they are just a poorer design imho

what type of tire are you using?

AF ones piece of p155 to fit S1 tyres to , just warm them in hot water and fit by hand easy and they fit on the hubs no p1551ing about changing studs , got them on the chopper and no probs with em at all
