Had to replace my kickstart shaft recently and now the kickstart won't tighten up enough. Took the hacksaw to it but still no good.Tried another kickstart but still the same. 7mm high tensile bolts seem very hard to come by locally, so can I drill out the kickstart to 8mm and dremel the shaft to accept the 8mm bolt?
Or are there any other bodges (sorry, solutions) to my problem?
Thanks.

I've got this too. Unfortunately, drilling out to 8mm didn't solve it. But certainly worth a go I would have thought.
