a mate has a malossi 210 with reed block & 30PHBH
It wasn't ticking over, the reed block was leaking very slightly at the casing, so removed that, all cleaned up, refitted and that seals fine now.
But now it won't start from cold without a blast of easi-start or soemthing down the carb mouth. After a few unsuccessful kicks the plug [an inridium B8] is not at all wet, suggesting no mixture is getting to the head...?
Starts first kick when warm, and runs fine.
And always used to start by the second kick with some choke when cold.
I probably don't have enough information, for instance the sparkplug did look quite new so i don't if his problems started with that... but seeming to be more intake related as the plug is so dry...? And that was the last thing touched...
i suggested he try another plug and check the choke is working as it should...
maybe the float needs checking...?
