float needle & valve
wot size float needle ( tap jet ) should i be runnin in a 28mm dellorto on an imola kit,,many thanks steve...
iv fitted a 250 float needle and valve to my carb and it bogs down at bottom end and smokes alot,,any ideas,,cheers steve..

best give us the spec on the rest of the carb jets and needle and atomizer, also what pipe and gearing and ignition. i have fitted a phbh 28 to an sr190 prior to that it was on my imola. it had a 350 float valve i had to go to a 200 on the sr. idle jet from 55 to 45.
its got,,pilot 52,,atomiser av266,,needle x7 second clip,,main 132,, franspeed 3 pipe,, bgm stator,,lightened indian flywheel,,timing 18 degrees btdc..cheers steve..
