spare wheel / sprint rack mounts

where can i get.. decent..
.. rubber washer / spacer to use on inner legshield spare wheel carrier mount and sprint racks ? that helps to not damage the paint...
what are you using?

I know that Ive used the large legshield rubber washers for this with a metal washer between that and the rack metal before. the metal washer will spread the load on the rubber washer so less likely to split when tightened up.

I use tap washers from Screwfix, you may have to drill them out depending on bolt size.

I was going to say 1/2 tap washers. Good for loads of things.
