How much oil in a P200?

I know you're just supposed to fill it up until it starts coming out of the filler hole but how much is that?
Having done an oil change, it only took about half a pint (if that) and that seems very little.

pg 29 of the vespa dealer service manual states 8.82 oz - 250g but
It goes on to say (which i`m sure you know) put it a level surface and filled it until dribbles from the filler hole.
hope this helps

I normally put 250-300 ml in the gearbox, using a 'rabbit water bottle', with the ball bearing removed!! This saves the need of getting the scooter on a level surface. Never had any problems with this amount of oil. Put to much in and it can come out of the breather when the scooter is being ridden..!!!
Regards...

Yes, 300ml is enough from completely dry and rebuilt (although you should have soaked the plates 1st of course!)

I've found 250ml to be sufficient.
Thanks for the water bottle tip Jet225 - that'll come in useful!
