Two questions

Trying to measure the tfr port heights on a TS1, this particular barrell has been chamfered round the ports to remove sharp edges etc

the chamfer is approximately a 1mm in height all round,

should i measure to the top edge of the chamfer or to the bottom as visualising the flow suggest the bottom edge or does the chamfer still allow the mixture to flow sooner as the piston descends

(then tied myself in knots wondering if the rings do indeed seal the ports why is deck clearance worked out from the top of the piston)

second question on the last batch of TS1 barrels made, were the transfer ports lowered 1mm in the bore compared to earlier barrels

personally i would ignore the chamfers..............
even a 200 degree exhaust port will have chamfers.................. :D
