both my torque wrenches kept turning over the load set and now only work on right hand
took one to work and the standards technician spent two hours taking it apart - his answer was "load of s**t"
cant really afford a top of the range one
anyone know of a reasonable one that will do 50ft/lbs LEFT HAND THREAD?
ps looked at the draper one with reversable ratchet and manual said - only for use with right hand thread, do not use on left hand thread

I bought one of these off ebay second hand a few years ago and its been bob on + its reversible (BTW its not me selling this its just to give you an idea)

seen 2 listings one says 10 one says 20...

Bargains. When I googled the left hand torque wrenches, they weren't cheap.

starts at 20 lbs,good for the rear hub & flywheel,and I've used it on the engine mount nuts + rear damper nuts.hope this helps.Dave

Nice to see you on here Star! For those that care, Starreem here won the US cross country race, beating a bunch of doofuses on maxi scoots. She did this on an old Lambretta. :bigsm:

Yep, nothing wrong with those, got one in my toolbox for years and had no issues with it, mind you I bought it here in the uk in a motor factor shop for about £12 ten years ago.
Here it is in Amazon for £11.18 with free post and packing!
(BTW its not me selling this its just to give you an idea)
