brothers nipped up on a run on friday grabbed clutch waited half hour got going to camp site then he told me the back wheel was covered,he didn`t touch it then came back to our house on sunday no probs at all,now i noticed that he as a breather pipe coming from the top of his tank and it runs down the rear of the footboard strut and ends level with the flywheel. As it had a blockedge in the fuel department and its spat it down the breather pipe ??? as i cant find any other faults
could be a homemade breather or one from a linked toolbox conversion ..didn't early s1 TV175 tanks have breathers?
Sure it wasn't gearbox oil on the rear tyre?

Right to set things right, had a close look last nite the pipe is fixed to the catch tray around the petrol cap but i noticed tha when i undid the petrol flap the petrol cap was not conected it was loose so i`m wondering that the fuel as gone down the pipe and out at the end of the tube what is near the flywheel and threw it all over the back wheel as i took it out for a spin and all seems to be fine and the rest of the engine is clean with no signs of 2stroke/oil anywhere.
