Knackered TS1 barrel

I've got a knackered TS1 225 barrel that was damaged when the conrod snapped. The pictures aren't too clear but there's a chunk out of the spigot plus a crack leading from it. How much material is removed when fitting a sleeve? Would it need welding before fitting a sleeve or would the sleeve remove enough material that repair wouldn't be necessary.
I'd like to [if possible] sleeve it down to 200cc to give it maximum rebore life, though not sure what pistons are availble for 200s.

Any thoughts?

Steel liner is one option, you could go down to 66mm then if you wanted.

You can shorten the spigot, MB have done plenty of barrels with similar damage and the spigot gets cut off at the "step" you can see on the outside of the spigot.

The crack could be welded up and ground away and the bore made true with a boring bar if you want to replate it.
