To be honest im a bit clueless when it comes to engines. Had this one built for me by a lad who used to race, so he knows his stuff.

Reeds are 'Harpowa' I think that's how it's spelt. Carbon reeds anyway. The cable adjuster is just for easy adjustment of the throttle cable.

One of the reasons I've registered on the forum is to learn about tuning as obviously a highly tuned engine is going to take monitoring and adjustment during is use over time.

Ive got a chislespeed built standard TS1 engine spare with very few miles on it which I'm going to strip and rebuild as a learning exercise. Although I've stripped engines before I've never rebuilt one and I think the forum will be a wealth of knowledge from which to reference during the learning process.

If you're interested I'll put the rest of the spec on here!

Cheers. Craig.

Thank fellas, yeah the car is one of my other toys, I've got a bit of a Porsche obsession as well as lambrettas at the moment!

In fact the Indian GP is painted in Porsche colours to match my cars. Sad I know!

Thanks again les. I've got Sticky's first edition of his manual but not read the engine rebuild bit yet. I think I'll also get the engine rebuild DVDs as well.

Is it worth buying Sticky's second edition of the manual?

Ta! Craig.
