Can anyone tell me what reading in ohms I should get across the ignition coil on a Varitronic stator plate please, I am currently getting 175 ohms across the ignition coil - have got no LT spark out of the red/black wire at the mo....
Also does anyone know if you can get these stators/ignition coils rewound if necessary and if so then who does it...? It looks like a right bugger to get the ignition coil off/on in one piece...!

west country windings will do it to original spec or will be happy to upgrade it to a higher spec if possible
