Looking at Lloydys page and saw a link for this stuff http://www.superflex.co.uk/products.php?cat=394 has anybody any experience of this stuff?the reason I ask is because I have a set of escort front dampers and the rubber in the lugs is a bit shoddy to say the least, the dampers themselves great, its just the rubber in the lugs doesn't fit properly from day 1,they've even got I discovered little pieces of white plastic to take up the space between the lug and the rubber (fitted from new NOT by me,I did send them back twice and eventually ended up with the best of what appeared to be a bad lot) so when I saw this superflex I thought this could solve the problem rather than forking out for another set of dampers @£1.50 each X 4 cheaper than buying new dampers. Also I take it if this is a "goer" that I will need to put the metal bushes in as per original or this stuff strong enough just to put in and fit without the metal bush.Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
Image the picture is just for illustration purposes it is not my actual damper

Providing they are the same size they will be fine but you should fit bushes otherwise they will wear out in no time due to friction. I thik Supeflex or maybe Polybush (onother brand) do stainless bushes in various sizes.

I have no experience with Superflex or Polybushes on scoots but I have just bought some for my classic car on strong recomendation.

Let us know how you get on.

I got some new rubbers from LTH a couple years ago for my Escorts, as the ones they came with I'd guess they went through the chrome tank!
