Dont know if its been posted before but i'm after carb / jetting set ups for a 22 mm jettex (150 type) on a Mugello 186, standard mugello no mods just bolted on running with a 42mm clubman and a mike Phoenix inlet manifold, anyone any idea , tips or tricks please ??
As my Dad used to say "Each to their own lad"

I'll ask a mate what he uses as he's got that combination of 186, 22mm & Clubman. I do think he uses a 200 slide but that's as much as I know.Toddy wrote:Dont know if its been posted before but i'm after carb / jetting set ups for a 22 mm jettex (150 type) on a Mugello 186, standard mugello no mods just bolted on running with a 42mm clubman and a mike Phoenix inlet manifold, anyone any idea , tips or tricks please ??

a mate has Mugello [v.1 i think], 22mm dellorto & KBA clubman.
he has 120 main, #4 atomiser, 45 pilot and /2 [GP150] slide. starts and runs fine, until you open it up then dies as if not getting enough fuel. So we're going to try a 123 main [just cos I've got one], then maybe a 125. will also replace the atomiser for a #2 and change the slide to 7895/1 GP200 type without the cutout.
on a ported SR barrel bored out to 66mm I had 125 main, #2 atomiser [drilled as per ScooterLoopyJohn advice] & /1 slide. To avoid low throttle four-stroking, I also ended up with a 42 pilot, which is low, but probably a feature of the jetex casting more than anything.

We did this last week, much improved all round, will do some choke/plug checks to see if the 125 main is needed.byron wrote:a mate has Mugello [v.1 i think], 22mm dellorto & KBA clubman.

Changing so many things at once is not ideal, but it seemed a good plan in his case, and so far has worked out ok.
