Engine swap

I,m wanting to take the engine out of my ss180 and put a p200 engine in short term whilst i get the ss engine rebuilt and tuned does anybody know how to do this without changing the wiring loom ? cheers

I am assuming your bike is a battery model .. soooo the last time i done this i fitted a 12v reg ran a wire from the stator wire to the reg then out to the loom at the junction box were i joined all the lighting wires and changed bulbs to 12v the brake switch to an AC one and its still working now ...... yes the scoot is a battery model , so are you saying this can be done quite easily without changing the loom ?

Yes bud it can set up so you have at least lights on/off and brake light ...

Sorry bud off the top of me head no .... i remember doing the "process of elimination method" i.e touched the live with each wire then two etc until i had got each working ,seem to remember also having to disconnect the horn and joining the wires together to complete a circuit as the were originally on the "dc" circuit ... and it doesn't take to long to work it out either bud ....
