I thought it was just a standard GTS 250
I do not try to explain why I ride Lambrettas,
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary,
For those who don't, no explantion is possible.

Engine is not a gts 250 its the same one as fitted to the Piaggio 250 X9 or the Beverley models both of which have carbs rather than fuel injection. When we built the 2 prototypes for the American company the first was carb engined and the second on injection the carb one out performed the fuel injection one due to not having the same engine managment and rev limiters . We can also fit a lot more tuning parts that we have developed on the carb GT range . we are currently setting up the std carb with an upjet kit and also setting up the 34 dellorto to suit so we can expect quite a good increase in HP over std models. The pipe you can see is also helps in the HP search it also sounds good! With regard to the shocks being heavy they are actualy smaller and lighter than the ones we have been fitting previously which are aknowledged by all that fit them to be a vast improvment over the std Lambretta set up. These are going on general sale soon so watch this space.
