Is it possible to fit both rearset brake and standard rear brake pedal and have them both work the rear brake? kinda like you used to have two brake levers on say a 10 speed racer depending on what your riding position was determined which lever you pulled. :wtf:

the front rear brake would have to pull the rear rear brake peddle ...the later cub 90 honda's did a similar thing but the conventional rear peddle was connected to a lever at the bars

It's something I did in the mid 80's on a cutdown I used to take my girlfriend on at times so couldn't use the rearset brake.Basically the easiest way is to do it is a flat plate with two adjusters sitting loosely in holes to allow movement. This plate then sits over the cable stop on the damper lug on the casing with the adjusters going thru the hole. Then I grooved the brake adjuster clamp to be able to get two inner cables to trap when tightening the clamp back up. The rearset and standard brake cables are then routed thru the plate and into the clamp.

I was planning to post a similar question as I really like having the normal brake pedal to stomp on in traffic. Belgium has priority from the right and there are people who would rather crash than give it up.

Picked up some rear sets from a friend who err... can no longer contort himself to fit them.

I thought about using a BMX brake cable splitter, the type used on gyros (which let you spin the handle bars round >360 degrees without twisting the brake cables)

Haven't fitted the rearsets yet though as I see one of my exhuast studs has stripped the thread out of the casing. Going to helicoil it first.

Also found this but it's for throttle cables so probably not robust enough.
