Morning all, I have decided to go tubeless and have just purchased a pair of scootrs rims as these have a proven track record for being very safe and good quality. These come without the valves fitted and i seem to remember there being a few problems with the one scootrs supply ( although a certain person may dispute that ), so my question is which ones? I would ideally like to fit valves that are a straight fit and don't require and filing or grinding of the rim. Is there such a valve? Any comments or suggestion very welcome. Thanks for your time Pete.
Are they pull in or bolt in valves?

Latest scootrs tubeless have the larger hole ....
These tick most of the boxes but not 100% sure if there's a slight clearance issue ....

You'll need the 11.3 mm ones.

I've fitted the bridgeport ones to mine. You either need to dremmel part of the (inner) rim where the valve touches, or just chop a very small section out.
If you get the valves and put them in position you'll see.The valves in the demon tweeks ad are for the smaller diameter hole. The 11.3 ones have a kind of tapered sealing ring. I bought the first ones from ebay (cheaper) and thought I had been given some snide ones. So bought some more from demon tweeks, which were the same

So are you saying i have to dremel the inside of the rim and not the outer painted area? Thanks for your input much appreciated. Pete

I seem to recall Sticky posting a picture of where it may need dremelling. It's on the outside painted centre section, the half moon shaped area on the flat section that the studs go through so it'll mean touching up the paint.10 inch Terror wrote:So are you saying i have to dremel the inside of the rim and not the outer painted area?
