hi, I've bought a ts1 225 kit...
I need some specifics to perfect fit
the kit is standard like from af rayspeed, I've just bought an MB manifold for 30mm dellorto carb(that fits inside reedblock)

how is the right piston head clearance? 1mm, 1.2mm,1.5mm

how degrees is timing on ts1 kit :?:

reed block fitting is:
-gasket
-reed block
-gasket

Thanks a lot

P.S. I shall certainly need more of you... ;)

Around 1.2mm squish, certainly under 1.5 but not much under 1.2, in fact 1.2 would be about right. timing 18 degrees BTDC, will be OK,
Keep on keepin on

Hi, squish clearance for a TS1 between 1mm -1.5mm no more no less set mine at 1mm if any less than this you risk the piston hitting the head.Set my timing at 19 degrees before top dead centre.Standard ts1 225.

having rode mine for 12 years then dryballs one the other day i would say the 60mm stroke that dryballs runs makes a better engine.
