Just got back to doing the last few miles of running in my Jet 200, with a rapido 200 classic, that I put on just before christmas. From 1/4 to nearly 3/4, the scooter bogs down. From plug chops and switching on the choke, it is still running rich.
The carb is a 30 PHBH with a 122 main, AV266 atomiser with an X7 needle on the first clip. Originally had it on the 2nd clip, but far too rich. The slide is a 40, pilot 55 and choke is a 70. Exhaust is a AF 42mm clubman and I have a LTN reedvalve.

My thoughts are that I need to either try another needle or atomizer or both to weaken the mixture. Any ideas what size to get next. If all fails, then i will get it dynod, but it feels so close to being right.

Haven't tried it on full throttle yet, but the main jet should not be making a difference within the range that I am on about!!!!, but I stand to be corrected.

Many Thanks

Paul

I think if you just change for the weaker AV 264 atomiser this will sort your problem out- and run it with the X7 second clip from the top
should be bang on the money, Oh and probably up the main to a 125
