Rode my GP the other day everything was fine went to start the next and wouldn't start checked all the wire connections changed cdi spark plug and still nothing. Tried it again today and eventually started. Ticked over fine and stop started fine whilst it was warm. Left it for approx an hour and again won't start. Carb has been cleaned spark checked wires checked but won't start. Has any one got any ideas why it won't start ? Once it's started I can stop and restart no probs but left for a while just won't start again. Thanks.

I had exactly the same problem last week, started fine at the houde, rode it 5 miles switched off for an hour and a bit then it wouldn't start, spark was ok, changed the plug and still no joy. Managed to start it by bumping, rode it for 10 minutes and stopped for another hour or so and same problem. Bumped it again and rode home and I THINK the problem is my choke not operating fully and maybe being a little weak on the air screw. Either way I can't get it to fail now

As above, check your choke is operating fully and also check for air leaksNorris1977 wrote:UPDATE,
