I am currently restoring a DL200 electronic from January 1971 and want to know if the numbers on the gearchanger and the arrow on the headset were painted from the factory? if so which colour ?

Saw pictueres of an RLC restored DL200 scooter which had them painted in black. Other Restorations have them painted red.

Thanks

^... agreed, whereas other models were painted red.

I don't know whether other later non-GP/DL models ever changed to black too (quite possible) but certainly all original paint DL/GPs that I've seen have had the gear change numbers in black.
