Hi,

I've got an SH18 on my LiS150 (175). I got hold an old SH20 which I thought would go better with the 175.

Having given the carb a refurb and new bits where appropriate, I tried to put it on today. My old carb is pretty tight on the manifold and needs fair bit of work to get it off, but the new SH20 was very loose when I tried it. Too loose to tighten it properly onto the manifold. This suprised e, as I thought that SH18s and SH20s were meant to fit onto the same size manofilds.

Any thoughts? Am I missing something obvious?

White plastic reduction sleeve on the inlet side badly worn

You will need a replacement to hand if you try to remove it.

If its not the nylon sleeve and the manifold turns out to be worn, I can post you a replacement if you pay postage. I Have a few going to waste in a draw just PM me if you need one...
