hello everyone ..

I have in mind to put together a small block motor in a lambretta tv s2.

I give the use of (for all days and for long trips)

could recommend that kit to buy?

I was thinking of a RB20, but some friends told me that is a very powerful kit that takes a lot of maintenance.

from already thank you very much for the answers ..

as you can see this kit that I want to use?

There's plenty of others on here far more qualified than me to answer your question, although, nobody has as yet.
Seeing as though you're new to this forum and could be put off from posting again when you receive no reply. I saw your last question posted about scooter shops in London didn't get you the answers you were looking for either.

I don't think you want either the RB20 or Imola if you're touring.

Who else do you ride with and how fast is the average speed they ride...this is what you'll be doing too mostly wont it?

Wouldn't a Mugello 186 or 198 be better suited to your needs?

Just my thoughts Hombre!

Thats what i would suggest too, you can just add a clubman type exhaust rather than an expensive expansion pipe and run it on an up jetted standard carb through your airbox. If the mugello is set up correctly it can give excellent results for not a great deal of money and you can spend more time riding your scooter rather than maintaining it.

rb20 is not a bolt on kit. they need very special care and attention, particularly with regard to the rest of your engine. its definitely not bolt on and go, same with the imola. a mugello or GT kit would probably be better suited, but you also need to think about carb, exhaust, gearing and your crank. theres plenty of resources here so do a bit of research to familiarize yourself with whats available. im based in london too and always happy to help, pm me if you have any questions or need some advice.
