Hello all.
My Ancilloti has fallen off for the third and last time. Great pipe but made of cheese.
What would be a good alternative? I can't afford the super exotic types out there but are other big bore clubmans much of a muchness.
Are the AF and KBA pipes the same thing etc etc
Cheers

Always been happy to use cheepo indian big bores off ebay, probably not as good as the more pricey options but still good VFM and mines been on my SX for 3 years now and still solid ( though a bit louder

)

The KBA could be the one. I've found an old thread about clubmans and they seem to be recommended.
They don't rev like the Ancilloti though. Its a real pain in the parts. The Ancilloti is a brilliant pipe. Why they chose to make it out of cheese is a mystery.

You could try and persuade someone with an 'exotic' one to part with it.
If the cheap ones only last a few years, it's got to be worth it for one that lasts ten plus, isn't it?

Bought a KBA. I want to get it all sorted before Easter and they're cheap enough for it not to be a disaster if it doesn't run right.

Ive used all sorts of clubmans over the years, from Ralph sax jobbys [which are easyly the best made but expensive] right down to cheap ebay jobs and the best bang per buck IMO is the Indian big bore

, having said that ive just taken a KBA off are lass,s GP after a couple of years use [including all that rain in spain] and its as good as new, i do chrome the U bends though

.
