jetts & needle advice

I have a dellorto VHSH 30 m which i need to re-jet. Going to have to buy selection of jetts, needles and maybe atomisers. Question i have is do they have to be specific VHSH ones or are they interchangable with other delorto carbs like PHBH? The reason i ask is that these
http://www.sip-scootershop.com/EN/Produ ... m+for.aspx says VHS, PHBH and so on. If they are compatiable does the same go for the needles etc?
Cheers
sef

the jets are same as PHBHs, but I think VHSHs are same as VHSA/B in using DQ/DP atomisers and K series needles.
I do need to rejet my VHSA after some top end tuning, so am looking to get a few atomisers and needles. maybe we should pool our collection...? as i don't want to be trying out too many atomisers at £17 a throw or a tenner or so for a needle....
i have a DQ260, DQ265 and a DP264 iirc
and a K21 needle, and another really worn one...
my plan was to try what I have, and then at least learn whether the atomisers are too weak [as the DQ260] is or too rich [as the bigge roens seem to be], really I need to try a DQ262, but then I need some different taper needles to try, as my engine needs to be leaner lower down, but wants bucketloads of fuel at higher revs
which is why I've stuck my Amal back on for now, but would like to sort the dell out, as it's been a good carb, and I had it set spot-on prior to the recent work...
have you increased the float needle jet ? i use a 350 in mine.

I will be doing the carb this week, well i say I, by that i mean twinny..

Dave o dare is taking his rb round to johns this week for some work so while its there we are going to whip his delly off and pop it on mine. IF it runs better than my current set up then we will then use that as our base when setting mine up and then go from there. At that stage i will then buy jets, needles, atomisers maybe one or 2 each way on each? Then bit of tape on throttle change for 1/4 1/2 ect and a day going up and down the road. I have sone extra jetts and atomisers but cant remember what they are or what my current set up is...

John has it written down somewhere so will let you know after iv seen John.
Hopfully be sharing/swapping we may be able to keep tghe cost down...Gotta get this sorted before the German trip...

I'm in no rush, just about to look at some crazy hybrid wiring and think i'll stick with the Amal for the time being

and check the float height, much of my day today was spent trying to get that at the right level, if it's not, then anything else is just making up for that fault....

The Jets I removed yesterday from a VHSH are a different height to the ones from my PHBH by about 1cm on pilot Jet. The thread length is the same but the protruding slotted end is longer. The main jet also differs in appearance too, with no rubber O ring on the VHSH Jet and the PHBH one being longer this time with the small drilled pinholes in the shaft positioned differently...is it that they are just older and the VHSH ones are an updated version? I was hoping to change Jets over too.
