12v conversion probs

i have become convert to 12v d.c on my s2 , but still have the dipping front headlight when the back brake is applied and a crap horn , i`m using 12v 7.2 ah alarm battery 35w/35w Readspeed halogen and l.e.d stop and tail , headlight and back light are very bright ,except when brake is applied .............................is this the norm , or does anyone have a fix ?

No, it's not normal, there shoul;d be enough power for the lights not to dim with the brake light comes on even without a battery. However, a SIL or BGM stator doesn't put much power out ot low speeds so if you battery is low then you might see some dimming. If you ride with your headlamp on and do a lot of slow/town running the yopu will have to keep the battery topped up with a battery charger. That's why Mark keeps banging on about the West Coast Windings rewound stators, they chuck out a decent charge even on tickover.
