That's the one! how do I do that? any ideas on the mudguard?
Were all Series 1 British market scooters fitted with the brass legshield badge? this one doesn't have any holes for a badge and it is definitely British.

I couldn't see anything in Sticky's book about the mudguard, how did you work the magic with the photo? I have a NOS brass badge but don't really want to fit it if it wasn't on the scooter originally, can original badges be re-used? I'm trying to use as many original parts as possible - grips, wiring loom, switches, rear light lens all the bodywork apart from the front and rear mudguards and a NOS horncase.

Thanks, Dave.

Just need clarification on what colour my 1960 150 series 1 is. At first after reading this thread I was going to order Dawn grey 8019.
The scoot has had one owner from new until I purchased recently and was hand painted at some time and want to paint the worst panels to match. The frame and engine numbers correspond with series 2 ie 8059** for frame and 8053** for engine. Looking on M & M lambretta it specifies River grey 8014 for the series 1 and for the series 2 it specifies 8019 dawn grey.
Here is a pic if anyone can help.

Got there in the end, the acual colour code is 8014 bluey green tinge rather than 8019 which has a deffinite light grey tinge.
