Anyone shed any light on why a dellorto 24/24 carb slide should start sticking ?.....not constant , every 3 or 4 pulls of throttle.
Have stripped , cleaned & rebuilt , but still same ....
Cheers , Mick

As you have stripped and rebuilt it - i`m sure you have checked the cable and the slide puller rod - but if not check at the top and bottom to make sure nothing fouling on any of the moving parts
Check the tick over screw isn`t wound to far in and fouling
my experience of this in the past has been a warped carb body due to tightenen and undoing over time - try backing the bolts (or sleeve nuts depending on age) off until it is frees it but usually its then not tight enough to seal - this is an indication its warped
try the slide with the carb off
best of luck
