but seems a bit high i'm using tubes on standard rims. i'm 14-15 stone

helps to keep scot on ground

i also noticed that there is'nt alot of room between tyre wall and engine case about 4mm should this be of concern?

about 18-20 front and 28-32 rear is the normal. 44 psi... is for the tyre to support maximum tyre load, and not for the use you will use it for......

on my series one i run 44 psi 2 up (25 stone approx) and 60k in the trailer ,just get mates to keep an eye on your tyre shape when riding (well thats what i do )

the best setting for tyre pressure FOR YOU will vary as to your use/load.............
and is best found from experience/familiarity with your own machine..........
but typically,.......if you find that your tyres quickly go bald in the middle............its over inflated..................

Hi Den what size tyre is it your running on i run the weatherman 190 / 10 on the rear and the paceman on the front both on standard rims wide rims wont fit with this size of tyre on the rear due to engine casing clearence i ran at 35psi to sweden and back. A little wear was noticed but i put this down to over 2300 miles being covered and i was towing a trailer.
kind regards
