fork rods

hi when i stripped down my series 2 forks one of the rods was bent,
i have been looking for new rods but everyone ive seen the ball end is a lot bigger than the ones on my forks and do not fit in the links, can anyone advise me on where i can get some fork rods with a small ball on the end.
or is it alright just to straighten the bent rod and re-use
