I have all the tell tale signs of an oil heavy mix on my Mk1 T5, I got blue exhaust and a new spark plug fouling, wet and turning black within a week. Anyone know the best way to adjust the mix? I'm guessing that I can reduce the amount of oil entering but I just don't know where on the bike. Any help or tip much appreciated, Tim.

check the gear box oil if it smells of petrol the clutch side oil seal has gone this will make it smoke

in total agreement my sons engine is stripped down on the bench with the same prob dropped oil it was like water and stunk of petrol,i`ve just put the new seal in and its causing the bearing to be stiff to turn so watch for that one,i`m waiting for a reply at mo
