Hi
Does anyone know which NK pipes were tested in scootering last month?
It said said in the article "NK road "and "NK race" , but AF do three pipes low reving mid and high.
I take it the "race" is the high reving, but which one is the "road"? the low reving or mid?
I spoke to AF today but i forgot to ask
Thanks
Russ

I had the AF NK mid on my rb. this was the middle of the 3. The name sort of gives it away..

Anyway it was a very revvy pipe. I remeber thinking what the f**k must the race one be like....Not sure if this helps...

Russ, speak to Al, I think they might still have the pipe at the workshop, which should help identify it?

Always best to clarify with AF what you want....as the NK pipes they have sold over the years are very different to the ones they sell now.....no matter what they call them.
As far as i know....they have a touring pipe and a race pipe, both of which are VERY similar to the ADS pipes being sold under the same names (touring & race) via Chiselspeed and they also have a fast-road (mid?) pipe as featured in Scootering test, which was actually designed for the RB but turned out to work well on a TS1......these 3 current pipes are VERY different from old NK pipes labelled road, mid and race.
Thats as i understand it....if anyone else can clarify, it would be appreciated.

Thanks for the replies
I spoke to Ben today, and he said they do a road or race for the TS1 and a low , mid and high for the rb.

Just found this thread, now.
We have an NK "rally" pipe as its known on our rapido 225, much like the ADSL PIPE. The header pipe sits very low to the floor but the pipe performs very well. 19lbs of torque and 23 brake consistent runs on dynojet.
I would have got one myself but its that low slung u bend header that put me off as the "sleeping policemen" don't like it
