Petseal does have a bad rep for breaking down, and I have seen some flakey tanks where this has been used.
But, like anything, I think a lot is to do with the preparation and application.
Making it clean, and most importantly dry, to start with.
Having said that I probably wouldn't use Petseal, as there are other things out there that I have used successfully
I used a product from Frost Autos on the last tank I did, that was 4 years ago and it's still fine.

funny, you keep saying Pro15. It's Por 15 and yes I have used many of their products over the years. The tank sealer and all of their products work great. Do it.

Bought some Por 15 which I haven't used yet. I asked a chap at Holdens who supplied it whether it was ethanol resistant. He said it is with 'fresh' petrol. If the petrol is left in the tank for 'some' time, the ethanol separates from the mixture and he could not guarantee the Por 15 was resistant in this circumstance. If you are leaving the petrol standing in a tank for some time he advised you use a stabiliser.
