I'm installing a TS1 kit bought off Scoot.net.

The piston came with circlip wires with no tab (type I prefer). However, the piston has no slot in the grudgeon pin holes to allow you to remove the wire circlips once installed.

Would you:

a) install as is and worry about how to remove the wire circlips later
b) dremmel slots in the piston to aid in wire circlip removal
c) replace with circlip wires that have the tab

Hah! You beat me to that kit. Good luck with the build.

Actually a friend bought the kit.
I'm just building the engine for him. He's more of a Vethpa guy.
Guess I'll break out the dremmel tomorrow.
