Hi
have just bought some scoot rs tubeless rims, only to find that the front one will not fit onto my pepperpot style hydraulic hub
The hub diameter seems too large for the inside edge of rim, a set of split rims fits no problem. Has anyone had similar probs, or quick fix suggestions, or am i going to have to stick with a split rim on front. cheers andy

what make is the hub did they say some type of rims may not fit ? did you ask if tubless rims would fit your hub ? there has been several threads on this subjuct a few yrs ago i believe frank sanderson MAY have the answer ..althi im sure it involves machining the hub back which leaves the rim studs dangerously close to the edge
first id contact who ever you bought the hub and rims from and check with them first , maybe do it blind and ask the question before you say you have bought said item from them

The hub is a spaq, unfortunatly bought it on ebay over a year ago, split rims fit fine so just thought tubeless would be same,

This is exactly why Lambretta Innovations do 2 versions of their Disc Brake, one for split rims and one for tubeless.
I think you'll find they just don't fit
