ADS-3 Touring
Iam after a bit of advice spoke to Chisels today regarding fitting a ADS-3 and they said that there is no fitting issues with it on a SERIES 2 i thought they had to be specially made/orderd to fit a series 2

Fits just perfectly on my GP, with only a little trimming of my rear footboard required which will also be required on your Series 2 and it sits a fair bit further from the frame stand strut than my JL4 so no problems expected there either.
The endcan looks far enough away from the panel so I guess there'll be enough clearance for a Series 2 panel with it's handle as well.

Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, loudly proclaiming: "WOW, WHAT A RIDE"

That's an oxymoron if ever I saw one, surely if it fitted perfectly, tou wouldn't be trimming anything

Ok, you got me there, I will say the pipe fit perfectly without the trimming of the footboard, but my standard series 3 rear shock would have allowed the pipe to hit the footboard on the cobbled old town roads locally, and since it's a road bike I preferred cuttign my footboard a little as opposed to wrecking my new expensive pipe.... A stronger rear shock might be sufficient, but I can't say for certain.soulsurfer wrote: Eh?

Anyone using a franspeed or jl on a series 2 with a ts in it? wondering what the fit/performance is like to compare, ive read scooterings article but nice to hear from folk who might have them fitted.

All the ADS pipes have been run on the Chiselspeed 'Fat Lass' Series 2. They've just completed a Series 1 TS complete build and no probs. I would expect the runner to be trimmed with most pipes to be honest.
