I have spoken with Harry about these barrels on several occasions since last year's VMSC show, when I took these photos.

And here is the 250 barrel (blank)

As you can see on both barrels, the re-cast item has much more meat at the top and the bottom. This gives a far greater choice with respect to top-n-tailing your barrel to suit longer strokes. Harry has built it to suit a 64mm stroke, even though he hasn't a 64mm stroke in his range (yet).

You will also see that the base of the barrel has loads of meat for opening up the transfer ports at the gasket face. There is also more meat between the fins to allow the trannies to be widened within their length.

The inlet is as per TS1, and the exhaust is the same size to suit the existing range of pipes.

Harry has pistons to suit the 225 and 250 version available from a reliable far east manufacturer.
