are early indian gp headsets identical to the innocenti ones or do they differ anyhow (dimensions, casting lugs, part-n°) ?
i know that they are almost identical in its dimensions, but anorak-detailed .. ?

My 1978 GP150 had a headset that was identical to the Italian version, but for two holes above the speedo for turn and main beam lights (yes, it had indicators). Mine even had Innocenti embossed in the casting.
Oh, and one other difference was that there was switch-gear on both sides of the handlebars so the static hole on the LHS was larger than normal to accommodate the wires to switch to turn with the gear-change.

yeah its the later headset tops that have a slight flick up at the end and later still housings were enlarged to s2 spec though inner bore remain the same
