hi my vespa cut out on me yestoday when i was riding along i knew it wasnt a seeze so put it in 3rd tryed jumping it while it was still going along but it wasnt firing, pushed it home and took the carb to bits cleaned all the jets no blocks cheaked the bowel full of fuel put all new gaskets on it (its a t5 carb by the way ) ive not got it running after running up and down the road bump starting it,the scooter revs well but takes ages to idle when reved , when it sounds like its going onto idle it cuts out . if i screw the timing screw right in it revs but you can hear it wanting to cut out after 20 seconds it cuts out . spec of scoot 150 casing t5 carb, scorpion exhaust , readvalve crank , lightened flywheel , cosa extra strong clutch , ramair air filter all jetted to suit no flat spot when the scooter was running right. 3 weeks ago i had a mesh filter and normal electric start flywheel . when i put lightened flywheel on and air filter the scooter ran better and a week ago when at traffic lights scooter ticking over open the throttle and it bogged down . anyone got any sugestions.

start by swapping filter and fly wheel back to eliminate faults there

thing is if you havent altered the timing it is possible that the trigger point on the fly wheel is not the same ,try the other flywheel first
