Tank venting

I have two petrol tanks ,one higher than the other that are linked with a single pipe. The filler is on the highest tank and is unvented to avoid leakage as it sits Dragster style.I need to fit a vent but not sure on which tank or both.Any opinions?

you'll need to vent at least the top tank
is the lower tank completley sealed ?
what size hose is connecting the two ?
will it be a lengthy process filling both tanks up through it ??

a pic would be good ,but the lower tank would need to be sealed elce it would over flow as fuel from upper tank drained into the lower ,and yes filling from the top tank would be slow as the fuel would take an age to fill the lower tank ,you would ideally need a 20mm link pipe

After scratching my head for a while I settled with a vent on the sealed lower tank with a link pipe to another one on the top tank with a breather valve. The two tanks are linked with 22mm pipe and hose on the opposite side to the top damper mount but room restrictions wouldn't allow the use of larger pipe so you may be right it will be slow to fill.
