This is a mock up of an old Taffy road pipe on my new build TS1. I bought this pipe about 3 years ago. I think it probably dates back to the early '90s.

Anyway, the second pic shows the standard fitment stub that I got with this against a standard JL3 TS1 stub that I've bought. As you can see, with this stub, there's no way this is going to fit.

Anyone any suggestions of the easiest and best way to resolve this?

The last pic shows the chaincase connecting bracket that came with it (chrome piece). I'm not too bothered about the chaincase connector as I'm sure I can get something made up to sort this.

is there any reason for not fitting the stub you got with its or has it had it if it has you could allways have the new stub extended to the same langth

the stub that came with is cast type ,extending the new one will at least keep tuned lenght

I'm pretty certain I've sussed it. I think the JL stub is the right one for this pipe, but I think the bracket is wrong.

Unless anyone knows different?
