after a very fiddly night trying to fit new springs to standard Series II dual seat, i came to fit the 4th / last of the fat support springs (perpendicular to frame) and noted they are different lengths.

i'm sure obvious to all but me, but do the longer springs go in the middle or at the back please?

I've got an idea the longer springs go in the middle. Can't be certain though. There are a lot of bare seat frames on eBay at the moment. Have a look at some of them and it will give you an idea.
